beause of my computer "hang" 3 times at 23/5, so I am angery and do not want to write....
2.23/5/2006 (Tue) ※ Interview for Geography & Resources Management-CU
This is a more relaxing interview than the one in City U =)
because it will not count any marks on JUPAS XD
but,actually it is a rare chance because not every applicant can be invited to the interview.
only applicant who get a good result inHKCEE (marks>21)
and put the programme in Band A could be invited.

well,let me return to sth about interview =)
It is a good experience for me to "meet the professor":)
I have chosen before to meet 2 professor,
CHOU KWAI CHEN(鄒桂昌) & LEUNG YI(梁怡)
before going to the interview room, I think Prof. Leung is a female.
BUT, Prof. Leung is a male............=_="How STUPID of me,right?
I am still being the 1ST person in a 8-people-group.........=w=
(Is it because of my SURNAME???????)
we use cantonese to talk~>//////<
This time I started by telling that My excellent geography teacher who graduated from geography department inCU let me have great interest on studying geography...
(THANKS FOR MY DEAR MR.WONG^+++++++^LOVE HIM FOREVER!!!!!!!!)
and I said that If I study in geography,I must choose the best one--CU.
Out of my anticipation, there were about 4 people in my group who is a science student@@
I remember that one of them told the professors in the self-introduction that:
"I LIKE STUDY GEOGRAPHY BUT I ONLY STUDY IT UNTIL F.3........."

what I thought immediately at that time is that,
"SO, WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO BE A SCIENCE STUDENT????AH???"
After all people finished their self-introduction, professors gave us a topic to discuss:
"Air pollution in hong kong",a topic out of anticipation & preparation.........= ="""
my enemy tried to show their senses on the topic,
anything related to the topic,they all used.
And even that some people used examples from notes made by MISS LINDA LAU...|||||||||||"
Orz very much........
the discussion....a fair discussion,all of us only talked some old things,
for example, "solution should be started by education/urban planning"....||||||"
However,there were still something interesting.........XDDDDDDDDDD
E.g.1:
a science student said that government should replan ALL HONG KONG,esp. for the central and Causeway Bay..............
well, how STUPID of this advice???
GOD,HOW YOU CAN REBUILD A HIGHLY DEVELOPED CBD OF HK?????
E.g.2:
definitely,some art student wanted to show their geographic knowledge,
so that they used some terms on geography,such as "CBD"
("CBD"=central business district,商業中心區)
I thnk it is sooooooooooo........................................Orz again.....
E.g.3:
When I said,to solve the problem is highly depend on international cooperation,
an art student said that Hong Kong should transport technology and capital to China,
and I said,"It seems useless because businessman,esp. chinese businessnan, do not want to increase their production cost"
and then he emphasize "so it must cooperate"
and.................................
I ask him...............
"WHERE DOES THE CAPITAL COME FROM?????"
and.........
Silence...............
=D
After the discussion,professors ask us to ask any question we have.
one of us ask prof. Chou (one of the subject he teach is "soil socience,土壤學")::
"Professor Chou, soil science seems to be useless,esp. in hong kong beause soil science always related to agriculture but agriculture is not so important in hong kong ,why do we need to study it??"
and prof. Chou give him a very interesting & funny answer.........XDDDDDDDD
At first,He aks the student "What thing did you eat as your breakfast this morning??"
the student "rice roll(腸粉)"
and Prof. Chou ask "what thing the rice roll made from??"
I answered it in the voice only I can hear without any delay..."Rice"
BUT...........THE STUDENT'S ANSWER IS............
"FLOUR"!!!!!!!!!

After this, I finally know why do HK's student alway be criticised as "no common sense"............................................
